A 1.5B-parameter Arabic SLM built by language injection, the base layer for our downstream models.
Kuwain is a 1.5B-parameter Arabic Small Language Model built using a novel language injection approach that transfers Arabic knowledge into an open-source foundation model while preserving the original model's capabilities. It is the base layer for several of Kawn Lab's downstream models, including Mutarjim and Sadeed.
